Owners & Veterinarians

Drs. Greg and Leigh Gallegos took over ownership of Riverside Cat Hospital in September 2015. They are both California natives who graduated from Kansas State University Veterinary School. After living and working in the Midwest for 12 years, they moved back to California to be close to family. They continue to do what they love, caring for our furry friends, and are looking forward to a bright future for Riverside Cat Hospital.

Office Manager / Veterinary Assistant

Karina joined the veterinary field as a veterinary assistant in 2023, and she is working toward becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician. She supports both the medical team and pet owners to ensure the highest standard of care for every animal that comes through the clinic door. Outside of work, Karina is a proud husky mom — her two spirited pups, Oni and Nova, rule her life in the best way possible. Her love for animals drives everything she does, making her a valued member of the team.

Veterinary Technician

Madison joined our team at the Cat Hospital in 2023 as a veterinary technician, bringing her passion for animal care and her Associate of Science with her. She’s currently working toward becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and is dedicated to expanding her skills in the field. Outside of work, Madison is a true cat lover, with four fur babies at home: Frankie, Koda, Mungo, and Little One. When she’s not caring for animals, you can find her reading, enjoying music, or indulging in her love for coffee. She’s always on the lookout for new coffee shops to explore and enjoy a good brew.

Practice Manager / Veterinary Assistant

Jessie started at RCH in 2024 as a Kennel Attendant before transitioning to her current role as a Veterinary Assistant and Practice Manager. With a passion for animal care, she supports the team and ensures pets receive the best treatment. Jessie is a proud pet owner of three cats — Hannie, Felix, and River — and her dog, Pippin. Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, going to concerts, and reading. Her dedication to animals and vibrant energy make her an essential part of the RCH team.

Veterinary Assistant

Paola is a veterinary assistant who’s currently in school chasing her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She’s known around the hospital for her great sense of humor and her ability to instantly brighten the day, whether it’s for coworkers, clients, or patients. When she’s not buried in schoolwork, you’ll likely find her rock climbing or fueling up with her favorite drink: matcha. Paola is also a proud pet parent to two kitties, Reyna and Aqua, and one very loved dog named Lorenzo.
